Hygge and Hearth Guide to Home Fragrance Safety

Posted by Hygge and Hearth on

At Hygge and Hearth we would like you to enjoy your home fragrances safely. Please read the following guide to familiarise yourself with safety when using our botanical or soy wax candles, melts and reed diffusers.

All of our home fragrance products are CLP compliant and come with safety instructions. These are either on the base of the product or the packaging or tied to the product. It is highly recommended that you keep these labels for future reference.

For all types of our home fragrance it is important that they are kept out of reach of children and pets and if they are ingested to seek medical advice. We feel that home fragrances are not suitable to be used in rooms where babies are present due to their developing and sensitive olfactory and respiratory systems.

What is CLP?

CLP are the stickers you find on your home fragrance that detail the ingredients used in the fragrance and any warnings or reactions they may cause. In addition to being CLP compliant, Hygge and Hearth use IFRA legislation to determine how much of a particular fragrance can be used safely in your home fragrance.
